You feel overwhelmed, anxious, or constantly on edge—even when nothing is “wrong.”
You try to move forward, but something in you keeps holding back.
You overthink, shut down, or feel disconnected from yourself and your body.

You might not have the words for it—
but you can feel that your nervous system is exhausted.

What if things felt different?

Imagine feeling grounded in your body instead of stuck in your head.

Responding to life with more calm, clarity, and choice.
Feeling safe within yourself—even in moments of stress or uncertainty.

Not a complete transformation overnight— but a steady return to yourself.

What if you could reclaim a sense of inner stability, trust, and ease that grows over time?

Somatic Therapy for Stress & Trauma

A Gentle, Body-Based Approach to Healing

Somatic therapy is a body-centered approach that helps you gently release stored stress and trauma by working with your nervous system—not against it.

I combine somatic practices with Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support both your body and your inner emotional world.

This work can support you to:

  • Understand and regulate your nervous system
  • Feel more grounded, present, and connected to your body
  • Navigate inner conflict with more clarity and self-compassion
  • Build emotional resilience and self-trust

How Stress & Trauma Live in the Body

Understanding your nervous system—and gently working with the patterns that keep you stuck

When we experience stress or overwhelming life events, the impact doesn’t just live in the mind—it’s held in the body. Even long after something has passed, the nervous system can remain in patterns of tension, anxiety, or shutdown.

In our sessions, we gently explore how these patterns show up for you—through sensations, emotions, and protective responses like overthinking, avoidance, or feeling stuck.

Alongside this, I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), a parts-based approach that helps us understand the different “parts” of you that developed to protect you.

You may notice inner conflict—one part wanting change, while another feels afraid, critical, or resistant. Rather than pushing these parts away, we approach them with curiosity and compassion, creating space for deeper understanding and integration.

Through body awareness, nervous system regulation, and parts work, you begin to experience more balance, clarity, and connection—both within yourself and in your daily life.
